Terms and Conditions

1. General

Initial consultations and quotations are free for new clients and conducted via email or online meeting.

Written quotations will be provided before any work begins.

A signed contract or explicit written acceptance (including email) of these Terms and Conditions by the client is required prior to commencing any work.

Work may be submitted and delivered via email or secure cloud storage platforms.

Prior to starting a project or task, a booking form must be completed and signed by both parties. This form outlines project details, agreed rates or payment packages, deadlines, and any relevant tools or software licenses required.

If the client’s requirements change, Jay Angelica reserves the right to revise the original quotation after consulting with the client.

All work will be proofread; however, the client is responsible for final review. Errors reported within 48 hours of delivery will be corrected at no extra charge. Errors reported after 48 hours may incur additional charges based on time spent.

Jay Angelica is not liable for how the client uses the work delivered and reserves the right to refuse work that is unlawful, unethical, or objectionable.

Contracts may be terminated by either party with 30 days’ written notice. Charges for work performed before termination will still apply.
2. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All client information is treated with strict confidentiality and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and global equivalents).

Personal data or project information will not be shared with third parties unless explicitly authorised in writing by the client or required by law.

Client data and project files will be securely stored for six months after project completion, after which they will be securely deleted unless otherwise requested.

While every effort is made to ensure service reliability, Jay Angelica cannot be held responsible for data loss due to equipment failure or unforeseen technical issues.

Security measures include the use of antivirus software and email scanning. Suspicious emails or attachments from unknown senders may be deleted for safety.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their own antivirus and cybersecurity measures.
3. Charges & Payments

Monthly retainer packages must be paid in advance and are non-transferable or refundable.

Time-based services are billed in 15-minute increments and invoiced monthly.

For hourly or project-based work, a deposit of up to 50% is required before starting, with the balance due upon completion.

Payments can be made via secure online banking or international payment platforms. Clients are responsible for any fees related to payment processing failures.

Invoices must be paid within 5 calendar days of receipt.

Late payments may incur interest charges of 4% per month on outstanding balances.

Any collection costs for overdue payments will be added to the client’s account.

Additional expenses (e.g., travel, printing, postage) will be invoiced separately as agreed in advance.

Requests for expedited service (24-hour turnaround) or work on weekends and public holidays may incur a surcharge of 20%.

Fees and charges will be reviewed annually on 1st January, with clients notified in writing of any changes at least 30 days in advance.

Jay Angelica reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, with clients given at least 30 days’ notice of any changes.
4. Code of Ethics

Jay Angelica commits to respecting client confidentiality at all times.

Business dealings will be conducted fairly, honestly, and professionally with clients, suppliers, and partners.
Agreement
Two copies of these Terms and Conditions will be supplied: one for the client to keep, and one to be signed and returned as confirmation of acceptance.
